13 people who took the whole #piggate affair and ran with it
Associated Press Associated Press
WHO WOULD WANT to be David Cameron this morning? Anyone? Bueller?
A new book by Cameron’s ex-Tory peer Lord Ashcroft claims that the UK Prime Minister “put a private part” in a dead pig’s mouth as part of a bizarre initiation for a dining society at Oxford. Ooh-er.
Naturally, when the news of the book’s contents broke last night, Twitter could not contain its glee.
Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker had to confirm that he knew nothing about it
The first episode of the series contains a scene with a fictional Prime Minister that is eerily similar to the allegations levelled at Cameron. Brooker says he knows NOTHING.
People said in terms of significance, it was up there with the moon landings
